Thank you to all who made the 2014 3 Rivers Venture Fair the largest and one of the most exciting Fairs in its eight-year history.

I hope you enjoyed the world-class amenities available at Heinz Field, our new and larger home, networking with over 700 fellow attendees and discovering some of the most promising innovations currently being developed and commercialized.

If you were unable to join us, I hope you can make it when the 3RVF returns to in the spring of 2016.

In the meantime, here are some of the highlights from the 2014 event.

  • $660+ million and growing! The total money raised by companies that presented at the 3RVF since its debut in 2002
  • 56 - The number of innovating, capital-seeking companies that were showcased at the Fair
  • 65 - The number of generous organizations that supported the 3RVF as sponsors and are working to advance technology innovation and job creation
  • $2,000 - The amount raised for the American Heart Association Go Red for Women at this year's event through our successful charity raffle
  • One. Congratulations to Data Squid for their first-place finish in the University Technology Showcase which introduced 14 innovations currently being developed at Carnegie Mellon University and the University of Pittsburgh.
  • 18. The next 3RVF will be held in the spring of 2016, just 18 months away.
