Dear Supporter of the 3 Rivers Venture Fair:

On behalf of the Pittsburgh Venture Capital Association, we are requesting your help in identifying some promising, capital-seeking technology, life sciences & green/clean technology companies for participation in the 3 Rivers Venture Fair [3RVF].  Not only will you earn our gratitude, you will also receive a dozen Pro V-1 Titleist golf balls or a $50 restaurant gift certificate, if you are the first person to recommend a company that is ultimately selected to participate.

Past featured companies have gone on to raise more than $292 million, collectively, since their participation in this renowned investment showcase.  In 2008, 44% of the presenting companies were successful in raising capital as a result of the Fair.  Please click here to find a list of 3RVF past investor attendees.

There is one primary reason for the success of this event—the exceptional roster of cutting-edge technology and life sciences companies featured at each Fair.  This year’s event will be no exception - but we need your input.

By recommending a company to apply, you not only will enjoy a valuable gift, but you will be helping to nurture the development of a new venture and contributing to the success of the 3RVF.

If you have a technology or life sciences venture in your portfolio or know of one that is exciting, innovative and seeking capital, we hope you will encourage them to apply for a spot on the 3RVF roster. We will be accepting applications on a rolling admission basis so please encourage your nominees to apply quickly before all available spots are filled. For your information, we are targeting promising ventures from, but not limited to, Pennsylvania, Ohio, West Virginia, Kentucky, Indiana, Michigan, western New York, western Maryland, as well as the D.C. and northern Virginia regions.

For companies that receive multiple nominations, credit will be given to the nominator whose form was received first.
